Pete Dafeet delivers the third in Lost My Dog’s Family Affair series. Focusing on the label’s most frequent contributors, each LP blends a mix of new original material, back catalogue classics, and guest remixes to provide a mouth-watering slice through seven years of Lost My Dog styled deep house.

Armin van Buuren will release his highly anticipated new artist album, titled Intense.  ‘Intense’ is an album more diverse than any of Armin’s previous albums, crossing over from progressive and trance to classic and rock.

Armin van Buuren:”It’s been an intense 2 years in the making. Being a perfectionist, some of these tracks have taken me months to finish. I’ve tried to incorporate as many real instruments as possible, including a live orchestra and the rock band of my brother Eller, Bagga Bownz. It’s been an honour to work with such talented artists, singers and songwriters.”

A DJ's job is to throw a party, and that's what DJ-turned-It-producer Diplo does with his reggae-centric side project. The guest list is crazy: "You're No Good" mashes up Santigold, R&B folkie Danielle Haim, Brit soul newbie Yasmin and dancehall don Vybz Kartel; "Get Free" wraps Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors in a lover's rock groove; "Jessica" finds Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig in a stoner-dub haze, pining in German. It's less strictly Jamaican than Major Lazer's debut, connecting reggae's often-insular tradition to a wider world. That may not impress those who find Diplo's culture-jumping suspect. But it makes for rich fusion, and a hell of a party.

inthemix officially expanded their EDM community and coverage late last month with a move to the U.S. They combined a presence at the Ultra Music Festival with the launch of the "inthemix Power 50" designating the "50 Most Powerful People In EDM 2013." Their top pick is Insomniac's Pasquale Rotella who oversees the Electric Daisy Carnival.
